SSH Telnet in Cloud Hosting
In case you have a cloud hosting account with us and you want to deal with your content remotely through SSH, you can receive SSH access to the account via your Hepsia Control Panel. If your package doesn't come with this feature as standard, you can add it with a couple of mouse clicks via the Upgrades menu. Within the SSH section of the CP, you will see the host, the port number and the username which you should use when you connect to the account. You may also choose what password you would want to use, given that it doesn't need to be the same as the one for the account. We have prepared several Help articles where you can easily find each of the commands you will be able to use with a shared hosting plan, plus examples of how they're used. In addition, if SSH access is permitted for your account, you will be able to establish a Secure FTP (SFTP) connection by using a standard client like FileZilla, for example.
SSH Telnet in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you have a semi-dedicated server account with us, you'll be able to obtain SSH access to it with just a mouse click from the corresponding section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, supplied with all accounts. If your package does not support this function by default, you will be able to include it effortlessly via the Upgrades menu. Once you go to the SSH section, you shall discover the information you need to connect to the server using a command line or a desktop app - the server/host, the port number, the username and the password. The latter may be updated at any time, if required. These login credentials are also essential if you would like to upload files through a secure connection and you want to use SFTP, which is also part of the SSH access service that we provide you with. A complete list of the commands which you can perform shall provide you with a better idea of what tasks you can perform in your account and each is accompanied by a few instances of the syntax.
